  Deadwood制作人David Milch的这部令人期待多时的John From Cincinnati是HBO长剧蓄势已久的又一次重拳出击。
纽约时报在跟随了David Milch和他的剧组一天的集体会议后终于挖出了剧情的冰山一角。
故事讲述的是一个问题家庭,剧情牵涉到冲浪,毒瘾和外星人。(SFU + Carnival????)
David Milch对剧本主题作了点透露: "If the future continues to reinterpret the past,
it could be argued that 9/11 provides irrefutable proof that unless there is some other way that we learn to
deal with our technology or deal with our brothers and sisters, it is goodbye as a species. That genie does not leave that bottle."

John From Cincinnati这个月就开拍，今年暑期播放，本片设在南加州，以冲浪文化为背景，讲述一家不和谐家庭的故事，Luke Perry在pilot当中作为客串，已经签订合约作regular了，希望这回不会像Windfall一样惨遭cancel命运。
