Theories are fascinating because it breaks the ice inside our mind, making it forebear, bear and eventually accept those differences.

The world is asexual while it is sexualized as it is populated and lived by human beings. If the theoretical trend promises right, then anything flows without any standstill. It would be wrong to say that the world is homosocial or heterosocial for it flows. Neither can we say it is bisexual for the dichotomy (homo and hetero) will inevitably efface other possibilities. That's why I found Bulter's theory of performativity right to some point--we act something into being (e.g. being a slut, lol).

I hope the above explains well enough for you. This is entertaining for me.

I agree that bisexuality is affirming the segregation of homosexuality and heterosexuality. Supposition of performativity to some extent blows up the way in which non-normative instances such as straight people having same-sex experience and vice versa, drag performances and transgendered subjectivities, eventually find properly satisfying answers.

It's really interesting to get stuck in the essentialist paradox, but thinking with queer theory beyond the binary setting of sexuality is even more superb. Please correct me if I misconstrued.

Unfortonately, most of theories reproduce the inequality of accessibility (tuition, language barrier), and at the same time fail to bring practical benefits to the mundane world. Indeed, it at least redraw the boundary of tolerance within us. Nice talking to thee!

Yes, thinking with queer theory is superb but the thing is, it is very difficult to do it or act it out in reality for there's too much uncertainty and instablity in the theory that one cannot seek for a definite answer or pattern to follow. For this, studying theories is a joyful mind-game and fingers crossed that they might prove to be useful and possibly make a change in the world in future.
